Eileen has been in the healthcare industry since the early 80’s. She believes the key to success is to surround herself with good people. She remains active in day to day operations and maintains an open door policy with staff and the residents of the facility. In her down time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to warm destinations.
Donna T. Harris, MSN, RN, PMHNP-BC, LNHA
Donna considers herself a lifelong student and earned her Master's degree in Nursing from Saint Francis Medical College of Nursing in Peoria, IL. She began her career at Belmont as an Agency Nurse in 1995. She quickly moved up the ranks and served as the Director of Nursing from 2000 to 2013; when she became the Executive Director. Donna is passionate about mental health treatment and has a special place in her heart for seniors and animals.
Sarah Smith, RN
Director of Nursing
Sarah began her career at Belmont in 1993 as the charge nurse. In 1995, she was promoted to Director of Nursing. In 2000, she decided to move forward to explore other avenues in nursing such as MDS Care Plan Coordinator, Teaching and Nurse Consulting. On April 1, 2019, life for Sarah became full circle and she is now back in her rightful place at Belmont Crossing as Director of Nursing.
Ali Melchi, MA, LPC
Director of Psychosocial Services
Ali graduated from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology where she received her MA in Forensic Psychology. During her second year of graduate school, she was placed at Belmont Crossing of Lakeview for her internship. After graduating, she was lucky enough to continue to work at Belmont Crossing of Lakeview full time as a QMHP and eventually became the Director of Psychosocial Services.
Director of Nutrition Services
Louise received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Clinical Dietetics from Michigan State University (Go Spartans!) Louise mentions that working at Belmont Crossing for the past 30 years has fulfilled her need to provide services within a special community. Throughout her tenure at Belmont, she has been able to pursue her passion of providing nutritional support and education to those in need and for people from many paths of life. When Louise is not making an impact at Belmont, she enjoys traveling and experiencing the natural beauty and cultures from around the world
Lidia believes hard work will always pay off when your heart is aligned with your passion. She has been in the Healthcare field for over 10 years. She started as an Activity Aide in a skilled-nursing facility then became the Activity Director at Belmont Crossing of Lakeview for 2 years. Due to her hard work and dedication to serving others, she was promoted to Assistant Administrator and has excelled in this profession.
